first semester at pasum

oh my god!the first few words that comes out of my mouth when I hear 'first sem at PASUM'.

golden night/malam emas pasum 2011/2012

the time had come.the night of elegance.oh yeah,was i elegant!haha.
so after eating,changing into our dresses and suits,and putting on make-up(which Isa said was too much) it was time for lights,camera and action.ahhh!so the night started off with a video gimmick from azhari

and the formal emcee started talking.i was at the back feeling nervous.luckily husna(my neighbour/course mate/buddy) bought me nescafe to keep me alive.so a few minutes past,when suddenly aizuddin announced,"kini saya beri laluan kepada saudara Isa Jusoff dan saudari Asila Aldous".

was that the cue for me to come out?hell no!

that was Isa's cue to start singing.yes,singing.both of us sang the first few lines to the song Lucky by Jason Mraz ft.Colbie Caillat.

and the evening had kick-start off.the rest of the night went on normally.one of my friend ariff and the dance group  the amani's danced to a hindustan melody,which they did so elegantly.my friend ali and the group vanila coklat sang to a sweet song.then there was the speech,lucky draw,and the award for excellent students base on academic.pictures were taken here and there.when the night ended,both my partner and I did the closing ceremony.

all in all,this was by far,the most happiest memory i had in pasum 2011/2012.i had great help from farah,nabila,sarah hazimah,alia&aizuddin(formal emcee),my friends for supporting me,my neighbours(husna,diyanah,sally,amani,shrfh)my room mate,Min, and also to my partner,Isa.if it hadn't been for him, don't think i could have done it or had fun doing it.THANK YOU!haha.

i hope the juniors will have fun too when its their turn.now for the pictures.

rehersal malam emas pasum 2011/2012

tick tock tick tock
its saturday.you know what that means?D-day.today was the malam emas for PASUM.and i was suppose to be on stage.but the show must go on.

the rehersal was.....not bad.here a few pics to proove it.

practice for malam emas

practice makes perfect?oh yeah,i need a hell load of those.the practices for malam emas was held every night.so for a girl who usually sleeps at 10 would feel like banging her head,because practice would last up until 12 in the morning or more.however,no matter how sleep deprive i was,i still managed to have fun while practicing.this was because my partner had a lot of humor in him.

but as you know nothing good lasts forever. why?well let me list them down.
1.we had to change our script a few times(countless)
2.i had to speak in pure malay(no english is accepted),while my partner speaks in english
3.i had a sore throat 2 days before malam emas

god,cry me a river!what am i to do?not panic!luckily malam emas was on saturday.that means,i can still go back on friday,have maximum rest and drink my mom's special remedy for sore throat.

because it seems like alia's asam jawa didn't work.what la alia.haha :D

time is ticking.will i get my voice back on that day?

on the way to golden night pasum 2011/2012

alright!let's continue.where was i?ah yes,i became the informal emcee.i was like 'WHAT?!' That info came in like lightning to me.it happened so fast.it went a bit like this:

dr.f:*says something about the dinner arrangements* ok,siapa yg in charge untuk emcee?emcee dh ready?
farah:emcee dh.informal is asila dgn isa.formal aizuddin dgn alya.

i was like dumbfounded.better yet,i had my partner change.sigh.the best part is,i don't even know who is Isa.

few days past and farah called all four of us for a meeting.when we met,i was like "oh,so this is my partner".somehow meeting him didn't ease my problem,it just adds up to it.because,there were rumours saying his good at speaking in public,he had became emcee a few times,and the height difference between me and were like WOAH!i feel like a midget standing next to him.

i thought i would never get along with him,but in the end my thoughts were wrong.

before pasum malam emas 2011/2012

there were a lot of blogs about PASUM's dinner night or also known as malam emas.after looking through the blogs,i noticed I haven't written my view about it.so,how bout we start from the very top?

i think it began during jogathon.i got no.13 in the race btw.

anyways,while i was resting,suddenly this girl which i met in the lift a few times came up to me,her name is farah,and asked whether i like to be the emcee for malam emas.i was flattered but i don't even know the basics about being emcee.despite that,she asked me to try.so i agreed.

after a few days past,she introduced to me to my partner,aizuddin.so both of us were so suppose to be the formal emcee.

at first i thought,"habis la asila.u xkenal pun mamat nih and u have never been an emcee before.habis la".that's not the only bad news.a few weeks past,the organizing commitee held a meeting and the emcees were invited there.i should have known something was going to as u all know misfortune never comes singly.just a head's up,farah had offered me to become an informal emcee but i hadn't agee to that yet.but what do u know,i became the informal emcee for malam emas.

i will continue this story on my next entry.but to end this entry happily,farah did the right thing ;D
